There's another case of a deadly respiratory virus and this time, it's in Florida.

It's the second case of Middle East respiratory syndrome, or mers, in the US.

The first US case was reported earlier this month in Indiana.

That person is an American Health Care provider who was working in Saudi Arabia, and is said to be recovering well.

Officials from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Florida Department of Health are investigating how the Florida victim contracted the illness.
The patient is said to be in a Orlando area hospital.

CDC scientists do not know exactly how mers spreads, but they do not believe it's from casual contact.HEALTH NEWS: Another case of MERS has spread to Florida
