A new study in the AMA Journal says you should start checking your blood pressure at an early age.

Researchers studied 4500 people - ages 18 to 30 - over a 25-year period.

Those who had the highest *normal levels at the beginning of the study were most likely to develop high blood pressure in middle age.

There were also 4 times more likely to get clogged arteries which can cause heart attacks.
