Nearly 18-thousand Floridians have signed up for the new Federal Health Insurance program.

That includes Senators Marco Rubio and Bill Nelson.
Nearly two million people have visited healthcare.gov to learn more about the policies available to them, but most have not selected a plan.

365,000 people have bought insurance through a state or federal marketplace and more than eight-hundred- thousand learned they were eligible for Medicaid or the Children's Health Insurance program.

Anyone who signs up by December 23rd will have coverage beginning on January 1st.
