PENSACOLA - Their successes this year, measured beyond any expectations.
Now, three business associates are turning their efforts to making the dreams of others come true.
If you have a young girl or boy in your family, you might especially be interested in what these angels are up to.

Ryan Carlson, Carlson Construction;  "We've been building since 2005."

"I started as a trim carpenter then and gradually progressed into a general contractor."

"We've been tremendously blessed in the past couple years especially.  You know, with the down economy, we've had more work than we could even possibly imagine having."

Tracey;  "We had a great year and we're hoping to have another good year."

Carlson Construction and Exit Realty have enjoyed a successful business partnership.  Now, they're passing on their blessings in a charitable venture.

Tracey McMackin, Exit Realty;  "We are building a girl's playhouse and a boy's fort."

They're donating the playhouse and fort to be auctioned to raise money for Communities Caring at Christmas.  Ryan and his crew are putting into this, what they put into every construction.

Ryan;  "We just try to make it something as real as possible.  Just on a smaller scale.  We don't want to just throw something together that's left over this, that and the other.  We try to put the real deal into it and give it all we can."

That explains the gables on the roof, the real, functional windows and an inviting door.
Inside, paneled walls, a loft for guests and get this, real hardwood floors.  And that's just the playhouse.  Then there's the fort.

Ryan;  "We can go back to when we were kids and just throw more of the rough and tumble look to it.  You know, give them something we always wanted  as kids."

Tracey McMackin and Arleen Montford will add the ladies' touch.

A little Christmas tree on the front and some battery operated lights.

Some furniture.

Tracey; "You know you get that special feeling Christmas morning; excitement.  I think they're gonna love it."

The house and fort will be delivered in time for Christmas to the winning bidders of the communities caring auction.

Tracey; "We are praying that somebody will bid a lot of money so you can shop and buy a lot of different items for the boys and girls."

Ryan;  "It feels good to help as many folks as possible.
We're just glad to be a little part of it."

Angels in our Midst is brought to you by Sacred Heart Children's Hospital.
