Have you ever thought about what you'd be doing if you lived to be 100?
Well, here's a little inspiration from a woman who's still living a life with purpose. living the life of an angel in our midst.
Lois Stewart, Hospital Volunteer;  "I'm the oldest of 11.  There's 11 of us children."

Birthday girl, Lois Stewart, was born in Blountstown, Florida on October 18th, 1913.  She had a career in the retail business.

Miss Lois;  "In Pensacola, I worked at Carmen Daniels, it's a dress shop."

She began her volunteer service at Naval Hospital Pensacola and has been giving her time at West Florida Hospital for more than 20 years now.  She took a birthday break today, but normally every week she spoils the staff with treats and she gets a kick out of doing it.

Marie Cherf, RN;  "Her famous cornbread dressing, that is just cornbread and cheese and onions; and we just love it.  Brownies, cookies; everything.  I think she spends her whole week just for us."

Miss Lois;  "Yes, honey, I love it."

Miss Lois takes her responsibilities very seriously and she's as dedicated as any paid employees.

Marie;  "She never thinks about herself.  She always thinks about others.  She is one who is a giver, and a giver, and a giver.  It's just amazing."

Miss Lois;  "I was coming one morning at 7:30 on Olive Road and a lady pulled out from a side street, hit me, and totaled my car.  But, I came on.  Someone brought me after they towed by car off."

That sense of humor is just one of the things that has kept Miss Lois going strong these 100 years.

Dr. John Gage,  "It's a purpose in life you have to have.  And she definitely has a purpose.  And part of that purpose is to be here and to bake for the doctors.  It's phenomenal."

Marie;  "For over 20 years this woman has done this and we just love her.  We just love her."

And how much longer does Miss Lois plan to hold down her volunteer duties?

Miss Lois;  "Well, hopefully, a while."
