Bring Your Dog to Work Day

June 20th is Bring Your Dog to Work Day!

The initial promotion created in 1999, was to create awareness for pet adoption and supply needs.

According to a survey in 2006 by the American Pet Products Manufacturers Association, millions of employees feel that bringing a pet to work leads to a more creative environment, decreased absenteeism, improved productivity, and improved employee relationships.  Employee morale and even sales have been shown to be improved by having pets in the workplace.
