Amazon hopes to use unmanned delivery drones by 2015

Amazon is getting serious about using drones for deliveries.

It's asking for  the government's permission to expand testing on unmanned aircraft's.
   
Amazon has asked the FAA to do outdoor tests near its Seattle headquarters.
   
Right now, experiments with drones can only happen on government testing sites.
   
Amazon says the prime air service will deliver packages in 30 minutes or less.
   
One day, seeing amazon drones could be as normal as seeing mail trucks.
   
They hope to make drone delivery a reality by 2015.
