Young girl hoping to find forever family

Updated: Wednesday, July 16 2014, 05:41 AM CDT
It's something that most of our children just take for granted; a loving family and a safe place to call home.

I'd like you to meet a young girl whose dream is to finally have a life like that.

Right now, Bella, is Nobody's Child.
I wasn't going to go back home with her and that made me really, really sad.  So, I cried and cried the whole week.

At eight years old, Bella was told that she was being placed in Foster Care because her mother could not care for her.  The news was one more hurt for a child whose life had been filled with one unspeakable trauma after another.  In the three years since coming into care, she's losing count of the number of foster home placements.

Let's see.  About six or seven homes.
With the help of counseling, Bella has learned to laugh again and she's finding her sense of self and self worth.

Bella, Waiting for an adoptive family;  I love to do, like, paint my nails and everything.  Do like girlie girl stuff and everything.  Then I like to go to the park and the pool and stuff and the beaches.

She's a very smart young lady and does well in school; though she admits that math isn't her best subject.  Bella loves pets and is a big help around the house.  She likes helping, period, and appreciates people who are nice to her.

Bella, Waiting for an adoptive family;  I love other people, and stuff.  Like being around other people, positive people, it just inspires me.

Bella is making great progress in overcoming the anger that surfaces from the pain of her past.  She's determined to be her very best for a family who will give her a forever home.

But, I'm really trying to work on it because this home, is like the last home I will be in.
I would just bring more than they can imagine.

I would bring a lot of love.
