Multiple vehicles from the Escambia County Sheriff's Office (ECSO) were spotted in West Pensacola near I-10 Sunday morning. Deputies confirm the capture of a 28-year-old attempted murder suspect was the cause for the heavy response.

Maj. Andrew Hobbs, spokesperson for ECSO, told Channel 3 News Barry "B" Locklear III was captured at the corner of Pine Forest and Stratford Roads after a K9 tracked him down around 10 a.m. Sunday. Locklear is currently in the Escambia County Jail with no bond under the following charges:

ECSO reports Turner was found on the porch of a home on Forest Park Drive with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital. The victim's current condition is not known.

At this time there is no information regarding a motive for the shooting.
