Authorities say Boyette on the run, armed and dangerous
ESCAMBIA COUNTY,, Fla. (WEAR) —
The Escambia County Sheriff's Office said despite claims circulating on social media, the person of interest in a double homicide is not in custody.
In a statement from ECSO:
You might have seen other social media post saying William Boyette has been arrested, this is NOT true. He is still wanted and law enforcement officers are still searching. Boyette is considered ARMED and DANGEROUS. If you have any information about his whereabouts contact 911 immediately.
Boyette is also wanted in the murder of Peggy Broz.
Residents in the viewing area should remain vigilant and aware of their surroundings.
