Baldwin County School Board member Angie Swiger has resigned
BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WPMI) —
Baldwin County School Bboard member Angie Swiger has resigned.
Swiger represented areas of Gulf Shores - Orange Beach, Elberta, and Bon Secour.
You may remember Swiger was not named in a list of school board members for the Gulf Shores School System.
She served a six-year term on the board of education.
The BCSB released the following statement:
Baldwin County Board of Education Board Member Angie Swiger - who represents the areas of Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Elberta and Bon Secour - has resigned. She is a resident of Gulf Shores. The board will advertise the position. It has 30 days to appoint a replacement to the position to complete Swiger's remaining term which ends in 2020.
