iM AGE: BCBE) Baldwin County Board of Education Board Member Angie Swiger has resigned

Baldwin County School Bboard member Angie Swiger has resigned.

Swiger represented areas of Gulf Shores - Orange Beach, Elberta, and Bon Secour.

You may remember Swiger was not named in a list of school board members for the Gulf Shores School System.

She served a six-year term on the board of education.

The BCSB released the following statement:

Baldwin County Board of Education Board Member Angie Swiger - who represents the areas of Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Elberta and Bon Secour - has resigned. She is a resident of Gulf Shores. The board will advertise the position. It has 30 days to appoint a replacement to the position to complete Swiger's remaining term which ends in 2020. I've provided her bio below, if that will be helpful to you.

Eddie Tyler, Superintendent said: "We greatly appreciate Mrs. Swiger's service to the children and employees of Baldwin County Public Schools. She has a servant's heart and a passion for public education. We wish her all the best and again, we're very grateful for her service."
