Bus history: First Class Tours buses involved in four crashes since 2016
Tuesday's deadly bus crash in Alabama isn't the first for the company that operated the bus involved.
First Class Tours, which operated the bus involved in Tuesday's deadly crash, has chartered tours since the late 90s.
According to information Channel 3 has received, the company's bus drivers have been involved in four crashes since 2016, one of them was fatal.
That accident claimed the life of a woman who was walking in downtown Houston when a First Class Tours bus struck and killed her.
That took place in May 2017.
Three other First Class Tour bus-involved crashes took place in Harris County, Metro Houston, in the last two years.
A driver was cited in one of them.
According to the Federal Motor Carrier Association, the company passed all 132 inspections they've had for their 94 drivers and 58 vehicles.
Inspectors did cite them for 20 minor violations.
Channel 3 reached out to the US Department of Transportation and Texas Department of Transportation. They couldn't comment on the crash or provide any more details about the company or its crash history.
