Dense Fog Advisory Tuesday morning

Dense Fog Advisory in effect through 8AM.

There is thick morning fog on the Gulf Coast this morning and the National Weather Service has issued a Dense Fog Advisory for the entire WEAR TV viewing area through 8 A.M. Visibilities may be under a mile in many places. As the sun rises and warms the temps a little, a lot of the fog will mix out and it shouldn't be much of an issue late Tuesday morning.

Tuesday afternoon will be partly to mostly cloudy with area highs around 75, well above the normal high in the lower 60s. Wednesday will also be warm with a chance for showers Wednesday night through Thursday morning as a cold front moves through. Temps will be much cooler late Thursday and Friday.

For New Year's Eve we can expect mild temps. Rain isn't likely around Midnight, though showers will be possible on the first day of the new year.
