Driver in deadly hit-and-run charged with manslaughter
GULF SHORES, Ala. (WEAR) —
Police have charged a 40-year-old man with manslaughter after a deadly hit-and-run crash in on Highway 59 in Gulf Shores.
Aubrey Coggin was hit by a driver who drove away from the scene.
The incident happened on May 14th around 9:47 p.m. on the Holmes Bridge.
David Justin Todd has been charged with manslaughter, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while licensed revoked and leaving the scene of an accident with injury or death.
The crash is still under investigation.
