Two people are behind bars for carjacking and holding a woman against her will Saturday night in Destin. She was able to escape and call authorities from a gas station.

Deputies with the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office (OCSO) arrested Darren Campbell, 22, and Cierra Banks, 17 on robbery, carjacking and drug charges.

The victim told deputies before the incident, she had allowed Banks to borrow her rental car. When the victim told Banks to return the vehicle, the victim claims Banks made her get inside against her will.

Campbell and Banks reportedly threatened to hurt her and "shoot up her house and family" if she didn't give them her red Jeep. They also said they'd hurt her if she called the cops.

She told authorities the duo made her drive them around. She said she was afraid for her life.

The victim told the suspects that she needed to stop for gas and that's when she was able to pull over at the Texaco on Harbor Boulevard and call 9-1-1.

While deputies searched Campbell he produced a clear plastic bag with Acetaminophen/Oxycodone Hydrochloride inside. The bag also had less than a gram of cocaine.

The suspects denied threatening the victim. They were booked into the Okaloosa County Jail.
