First babies born in 2018 in NWFL
FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. (WEAR) —
The first babies of the new year have been welcomed into the world at hospitals across the country, but the first baby born in 2018 in Northwest Florida was followed quickly by the second.
Sara and Taylor Hall welcomed Atlas Hall at 2:47 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 1st at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center.
His brother August arrived one minute later.
Kaylani Toro made her debut in the New Year at Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast at 2:24 a.m.
"I think she had it all planned out, she knew when she wanted to come," said Kayla Schoenstein, her mother.
