Frontier Airlines coming to Pensacola International Airport
PENSACOLA, Fla. (WEAR) —
Pensacola International Airport will be getting a new airline next spring.
Frontier Airlines announced Tuesday that the airport is one of 21 new cities served by the carrier as part of their nationwide network expansion.
Starting spring 2018, Frontier will offer nonstop flights to Denver, Colorado from Pensacola International Airport.
The city said this expansion is expected to bring more than $1 billion in savings to consumers through lower airfares.
