Game on! USO gets a one-up in gaming room
PENSACOLA, Fla. (WEAR) —
The USO at the NAS Pensacola center got a major update.
Today was the grand re-opening of the video game room.
The facility now has double the original capacity, which is perfect for military memers trying to relax when they're not on duty.
"As we all know, video gaming is very popular. It is one of our most popular programs at our centers," said Dana Cervantes, director of USO Northwest Florida. "So having this new space and upgraded games and new furniture that's comfortable and a fun environment is so important. That's why they're here. They love to play games."
The upgrade cost is $26,000, which was donated by the donated by the Armed Forces Families Foundation.
