Local shelters overloaded with kittens

Springtime is bringing box loads of kittens to local rescue centers.

The Panhandle Animal Welfare Society in Okaloosa County is getting up to 20 kittens a day.

Staff members say the overload won't end until pet owner take action.

The Pensacola Humane Society is also getting a lot of calls about kitens.

If you're interested in fostering kittens or puppies until they find a permanent home give the organization near you a call.
