Milton man arrested for kidnap, assault
PENSACOLA, Fla. (WEAR) —
A Milton man has been arrested for kidnapping and assault.
According to the arrest report, on May 26 Escambia County Sheriff's Office responded to a call in reference to a missing person.
Upon arrival, deputies were informed that the missing person had been dealing with a stalker referred to as "Twist Brown", later identified as Alaric Brown.
With reason to believe the victim was in danger a ping was conducted on her phone.
The victim contacted the person who called police and said that "Twist" had taken her and they were broken down on the side of the road.
They were located by police and Brown was placed in handcuffs and detained.
According to the report, the victim stated Brown came to her house and threatened to hurt her and others if she didn't get in the car with him.
She got in the car with him and he drove them to Milton where he took her to a house and raped her.
Brown was placed under arrest and transported to Escambia County Jail where he was charged with kidnapping and assault.
Since the sexual battery occurred in Milton, sexual battery charges are being referred to Milton Police Department.
