NAS Pensacola closing to visitors due to Nate
PENSACOLA, Fla. (WEAR) —
Due to potential inclement weather from Tropical Storm Nate, Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola is closing the base to visitors.
NAS Pensacola said only mission essential personnel are required to report for duty.
No personnel evacuations have been ordered at this time for the base.
Aircraft from Training Air Wing SIX will be hangared on board the installation, NAS Pensacola said.
The base is expected to reopen and resume normal operations on Monday, October 9.
