Pedestrian hit by vehicle at intersection of Pace and Cervantes
PENSACOLA, Fla. (WEAR) —
Pensacola police are investigating after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle Tuesday night.
According to the Pensacola Police Department, the man was hit at the intersection of Pace Boulevard and Cervantes Street around 7:30 p.m.
Public Information Officer Mike Wood told Channel 3 the man was taken to a hospital as a trauma alert.
A traffic homicide team is at the scene of the crash investigating the incident while the pedestrian is still in the hospital. The roadway will remain closed until the investigation is complete.
