Pensacola man arrested after pointing a possible gun at another person at a red light
ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WEAR) —
A Pensacola man has been arrested after yelling and pointing a possible gun at another person at a red light.
According to the arrest report issued by the Escambia County Sheriff's Office, the victim stated she stopped at a red light on Highway 29 when 25-year-old Allen Dillard pulled up next to her.
Dillard started yelling at her. In order to hear him better the victim rolled down her window, according to the report.
The report stated that Dillard kept yelling at her and then pulled out a pistol and pointed it at her.
The victim stated she was in fear of her life at this time, and she observed Dillard pull into a Circle K gas station, so she called the Sheriff's office, according to the report.
Upon arrival, Dillard became very defensive and kept asking what the problem was, the report said.
Deputies asked about the incident and Dillard refused to speak to police, according to the report.
Deputies also asked if there were any weapons in Dillard's vehicle, which the report says Dillard said no.
After a search, deputies located two black CO2 BB guns in the waistband of Dillard's pants. Deputies then detained him, according to the report.
Dillard was transported to the Escambia County Jail where he is being held on a $5,000 bond.
