Pensacola Mardi Gras kicks off celebration
PENSACOLA, Fla. (WEAR) —
Pensacola Mardi Gras is kicking off the season with a street party this week.
The Krewes are taking their floats downtown for the blessing of the fleet.
They'll be parked along Palafox and Government Streets - giving you a first look at this year's themes and costumes.
The festivities include a live jazz band and free king cake.
It all starts at 5 p.m. on Friday.
