Semi-truck overturns, dumps lumber along Mobile Highway
ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WEAR) —
A semi-truck carrying lumber overturned on Mobile Highway Monday evening.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), 27-year-old Jesse Lee Croyle was driving eastbound just east of the Florida/Alabama state line just after 6:45 p.m.
The FHP report said the semi-truck had a mechanical issue that caused Croyle to lose control and roll over into the wood line, causing the lumber to spill into the travel lanes on Mobile Highway.
Croyle was taken by ambulance to Sacred Heart for minor injuries.
