Several burglary cases solved after deputies make three arrests

Two teens and one juvenile are suspected of committing several burglaries that happened in the area of Verano and Mercado Streets. Authorities report they were able to solve several cases.

The incidents happened on the evening of Wednesday, August 23. The suspects struck again that evening, and that's when deputies with the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office (SRCSO) spotted two people, 19-year-old Sean Alexander Banks and 18-year-old Parker Tray Ragsdale.

A deputy found a back pack with a fixed blade knife and sheath, two women's rings, two bandanas, a zip lock bag with change and a bottle of vape juice. When deputies served a search warrant, they found a runaway juvenile and handguns. They also report finding a lot of electronics, ammuniton and narcotics.

Banks and Ragsdale have been arrested and charged with three counts of burglary, which is a third degree felony, three counts of possession of burglary tools, which is a third degree felony, and three counts of larceny, which is a second degree misdemeanor.

The deputy also arrested and charged the juvenile with dealing in stolen property, theft of a handgun and possession of narcotics and paraphernalia.

Banks is currently in the Santa Rosa County jail on no bond. Ragsdale is being held on a $11,000 bond.
