Authorities ID suspicious substance leaking in package at U.S. Postal Office
The liquid inside a suspicious package at the U.S. Postal Office has been identified.
According to the Pensacola Police Department (PPD), the "leaking substance" has been identified as liquid antiseptic.
PPD told Channel 3 News a postal worker found a suspicious package on Wednesday morning from England that was leaking with an odd smell at the post office on the 7100 Block of Tippin Avenue.
The Pensacola Fire Department set-up a one mile shelter-in-place radius as a precaution.
The post office was evacuated.
One investigator said one postal worker was transported to a local hospital.
