Navy enforces drinking ban on sailors
The U.S. Navy is enforcing a drinking ban on sailors stationed in Japan.
This ban was put in place after a sailor was arrested on suspicious of driving under the influence (DUI).
Off-base privileges are also on hold for the nearly 19,000 sailors stationed in the country.
Officials say the ban will be lifted once "all personnel understand the impact of responsible behavior on the U.S. - Japan alliance."
