Florida AMBER Alert cancelled for 14-year-old girl
FORT MYERS, Fla. (WEAR) —
An AMBER Alert that was issued for a 14-year-old Florida teen has been cancelled. She has been found safe, according to law enforcement officers.
Authorities with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) believed she was in the company of 18-year-old Paulo Mateo Pedro Thomas.
Jessica Matias-Francisco, 14, was last seen in the area of the 400 block of Tyrone Avenue in Fort Myers, Florida, which is in Lee County.
She was wearing blue jeans and a blue and white horizontal striped shirt. She is a hispanic child with black hair and brown eyes.
Jessica weighs 116 pounds and is 3'11".
Thomas may be driving a silver 2005 Chevrolet with the tag number 164RMX. The FDLE says the plate was stolen from another vehicle.
