Trump to CNN: "You are fake news"

President-elect Donald Trump addressed the nation Wednesday in his first press conference since the election.

During the press conference, Trump expressed his anger about the way his lawyer Michael Cohen was portrayed in the news and attacked the news media.

He continued by calling Buzzfeed a “failing pile of garbage” for breaking the news.

Then he said CNN owed Cohen an apology for covering the story. Trump said CNN went "out of their way to build it up."

When Trump went to take the next question, CNN's Senior White House Correspondent, Jim Acosta asked for a follow-up question.

"Since you are attacking us, can you give us a question?"asked the CNN reporter.

Trump denied the journalist several times and then told him “You are fake news.”

CNN, founded in 1980, was the first news channel to provide 24-hour news. They are headquartered in Atlanta and are the first all-news television channel in the United States.
