50% No

Comment: When you have a two faced President who said in running for President he would bring them home....what makes one believe he knows what the heck his mission is.Lie??? from Pensacola,Fl by Flower

Comment: i say let the afghanistan government and troops deal with insurgencies...with the support from us without the troops. in a few years this will involvement will end just like the way the soviets had to withdrawal...a complete disaster with no end in sight...history shows us that this area and the people could not be conquered nor controlled since the days of Kahn...what makes this military involvement any different? the end result will be the same... from pensacola fl by h

Comment: We need to get out of world-wide police business and take care of our country. from Pensacola/FL by Leonard

Comment: I would like to see teams equipped with well drilling rigs go into every village and provide deep and permanent artesian wells for potable water for years to come. It would be an example of dramatic humanitarian support that wwould last long after any war efforts will have left. from Pensacola by Nelson

Comment: I don't like the idea of it, but I'm afraid it's inevitable. We must fight terrorism all over the world. from Pensacola by Freda

Comment: Troops need all the support that they can get. we have to put every effort in winning against al-Qaida. I know the president is looking at the money we are spending there. We have send the amount of troops that are needed to complete the mission and get our boys and girls back home safe. from Navarre, Fl. by C J

Comment: Whatever it takes. As a military retiree and Vietnam vet, I've learned that military action is the result of failed diplomacy. That being said, if our politicians were sending their sons & daughters overseas for combat; you could bet the farm that they would be sending everything but the kitchen sink. As it is, politicians have to realize the military is "TRAINED" to win, but CANNOT DO IT, if our politicians think they know more than the generals and admirals. Let's go over and don't come back until it's over. Rotating troops in and out is a big detriment: if our troops knew going over, that they won't come home until it was over, chances are it WILL BE OVER SOON. I seem to remember that WWII was fought that way---nobody came home until the job was done/the war was won. from Mary Esther, FL. by Tom

Comment: This is a tough issue. If we don't send more troops will it start looking like Nam or if we send more the death toll may rise. So, its a double edge sword. from Mary Esther by Alan

Comment: I don't support it because my fiance just got back from Iraq not even a month ago and i got the bad news yesterday that he may get deployed to Afghanistan from Pensacola,FL by Nika

Comment: I think this has been going on long enough and we just need to bring are troops home. How many more soldiers are going to get killed before they are brought home to be with their families? from Pensacola, Florida by Krystal

Comment: Get enough in to get out soldiers out. Time to cut our loses. History shows it is a no win war for anyone. from FWB, FL by Jon

Comment: What benefit do the American people see with sending more troops in to die? So many soldiers are dying and we see no results. from Navarre, FL by Erin

Comment: We have committed ourselves to that area now we must protect those involved. from Pensacola Florida by Paul

Comment: From a retired Navy Chief. Send in all it takes to overwhelm the insurgents and wipe them out. If we leave we are back to ground zero, and it will be a breeding ground for al-Qaida, and extremist Taliban to do what Osama set up for the World Trade Center etc. from pensacola fl by jim

Comment: dont send troops to afghan lets wait till they come over here then we can fight them. from navarre fl by lewis

Comment: no. they need to bring are troops home let them deal with there own people.as long as they do not mess with the usa.let are men come home. from pensacola fla by cynthia

Comment: Did you know that if our troops are fired on, they have to call battalion headquarters to get permission to fire back? If we capture someone, we have to read miranda rights to them. We have to protect our men and women in battle. Our Government has gone nuts. from Pensacola by Melissa

Comment: X from pensacola FL by john

Comment: Im not sure this people having been fighting for years this is just how they are but i dont see why we send a bunch of our troops over there when were not geting any were just send a few people at a time to do specific task and make them unown to others don't just let this keep going from Pensacola Florida by Dylan
