Comment: Too many reasons to NOT confirm, from guns to abortion from Mobile, Al by Larry

Comment: You have Ginsberg...why not add to the heap! from Pensacola,Fl by Flower

Comment: He should not have been confirmed as president of our great nation, and no one he appoints should be appointed to political or judicial office. Not qualified from pensacola fl by jim

Comment: 0 experience from pensacola beach by dwight

Comment: If you want a Justice who reflects President Obama's radical liberal values, by all means confirm her. I don't believe the American people want that. They want a mainstream individual whose values are more Main Street. from Pensacola, FL by Joe

Comment: Her actions in past jobs have shown liberal activisim. Impartial adherance to the constitution is required for a Supreme Court Justice not someone with a history of far left or far right leanings. from Mobile, AL by Jim

Comment: Ms. Kagan is the most virulent, pro-abortion Supreme Court nominee in over a decade. She says that partial-birth abortion "may be the best or most appropriate" option for women! She banned the military from her campus, she suppports the gay rights agenda and she has NO expereince to recommend her to be on the Supreme Court of America. from Milton, FL by Carol

Comment: Filibuster this radical liberal from Gulf Breeze, FL by Gordon

Comment: Her early writings show her ture heart for truly extreme socialist ideals and she should be vigorisly oppossed. I hope that our repersentatives will finally get some backbone and stand up to this president and his agenda. from Pensacola Fl. by C.

Comment: She has never been a judge and she is stsrting out as a Supreme Court judge? from Holt, FL by Allan

Comment: there is no reason not to seat this very qualified woman so lets do. from pensacola fl. by dolores

Comment: No way. from Milton by Tom

Comment: to liberal from pns,fl. by john

Comment: She violated the Solomon Amendment in not allowing military recruiters on Harvard's campus. She doesn't have the temperament for a wise, impartial Supreme Court Justice. from Pensacola, FL by Carol

Comment: Elena Kagan has no experience as a seated judge & therefore does not need a lifetime appointment to decide right & wrong for the population of this country. I could not care one iota about her personal life or lack of same, she has no history as a judge & we do not know how she will rule. The fact our illegal alien president wants her is reason enough to doubt her credentials.....we STILL have not been shown ANYTHING that proves OhBlahblahs past.. from fla by independent

Comment: What is wrong with choosing a lawyer with daily courtroom experience under his/her belt; not just putting 'one of the team' in there? She may have the requisite law degree, but the "daily" courtroom experience is what troubles me. from Mary Esther, FL. by Tom

Comment: Hell no. Too many commie pigs in office as it is. from Cantonment, Fl. by Jeff

Comment: No, please, not another liberal on the Supreme Court. They have already done so much damage to our legal system that we may never get back to God given rights and the following of the Constitution. We have to get rid of so many Liberals, not pile more in. from Pensacola, Fl. by Frank

Comment: Previous comments show her bias by BoB

Comment: I don't believe she will rule in accordance with our US constitution and will rule using her left wing values taking our country further off course from what our founding Fathers had envisioned. from Pensacola/FL by Dick

Comment: It is time to Filibuster this nominee...Untill Her Name is Withdrawn. from Atmore, Alabama by Lawrence A.

Comment: I am opposed to her nomination. Primarily because there is little info with which to make a balanced decision. from Pensacola, Fl by Cliff

Comment: We have too many communist/socialist in gov't now. from Navarre by J

Comment: She's never even served on the judiciary! This is the U.S. supreme court and she's never been a judge! come on? from mobile, al by terri

Comment: Republicans will be against any nominee that the president picks. by Carol

Comment: Just like our President, no real experience! We don't need a "yes" woman on the highest court. She is also anti-military, banning military recruiters from the campus where she worked. Way left of the majority of the U.S. from Pensacola, FL by J

Comment: Why not confirm someone who has never been a Judge. We elected someone president who never ran any level of government before!!!!! from Pensacola by Erwin

Comment: Barring evidence of crimes or corruption, a president should have his nominees confirmed. from Pensacola by Ed

Comment: SHE IS TOO LIBERAL. from NC by Al

Comment: I understand that she does not think much of the NRA, so for me that is plenty enough not to confirm her. from Pensacola, FL by Lee

Comment: She has no respect for the Constitution and we need justices who will rule in court based on that document. from Cantonment, FL by Carolyn

Comment: Favor, she couldn't possibly be any worse than the so called "right" who for the most part are on the wrong side of most "not all" issues facing this country. And, for you OBAMA bashers regardless of what he does, remember when you inherit a cancer, it will take some time and patience to cure it. Thinking with his "gut" didn't work for the past president. Whether this president succeeds or fails, at least, he uses the appropriate anatomy to do his thinking. HB (Navarre) from Navarre by HB

Comment: just one more flunky of Obama's. from pensacola, fla. by david

Comment: If Obama wants her I don't from pensacola by nancy

Comment: My real answer is that I'm undecided. While I don't like the quoted remarks attributed to her from her college and law school days, I do not know her more current record. My major worry is that she will 'make up' the law as she goes along, rather than abide by the U. S. Constitution. As we all, I have to trust the Senate committee to ask good questions - both in public and in their 1:1 discussions with her - and that they will vote with the country at heart, rather than partisanship. from Pensacola / FL by Rick

Comment: I don't think she has the qualifications to be a Supreme Court Justice from McKinney, TX by Carol

Comment: Absolutely not! Kagan is a liberal activist that wants to legislate her own personal beliefs from the bench, even though the majority of Americans do not agree with her. SC Judges are supposed to interpret the law, not legislate new laws. Her inflammatory statements in the past should have been enough to keep her from being nominated in the first place, but Obama is determined to run our country into the ground. from Pace, FL by Michelle

Comment: too liberal from milton by Dean
