Woman gets 25 years for fatal DUI
November 07, 2009 03:03 EST

MILTON, Fla. (AP) -- A Panhandle woman has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for a drunken-driving crash that left two people dead.

A Santa Rosa County judge sentenced 51-year-old June Coriell Thursday. She pleaded no contest in September to two counts of DUI manslaughter, two counts of DUI with serious bodily injury and a count of DUI with property damage.

The Florida Highway Patrol reports that Coriell's blood alcohol level was .108 in April when she crashed into a Jeep. State law considers a driver with a blood alcohol lever of .08 to be impaired.

The Jeep's driver died at the scene and one of his passengers died a week later. Two children in the Jeep were injured but survived.
