NORTHWEST FLORIDA - Air Force leaders are in northwest Florida today to help ease concerns over a new fighter jet.

The next generation of fighter jet... The F-35 will call Eglin Air Force base home.

There have been serious concerns in Valparaiso about how loud the jet will be.

Air Force leaders told community leaders this morning that the aircraft... Known as the joint strike fighter... Will not be as loud as some have feared.

General Charles Davis also said the military will take many steps to make sure the surrounding communities will not feel a negative impact from the new jet.Air Force Eases Concerns over F-35
