PENSACOLA -- The local chapter of the Goodwill Easter Seal has unveiled its new Christmas ornament.

This year's ornament features the Old Christ Church.

The church was built in 1832 and is a historic landmark in downtown Pensacola.

Each year, Goodwill Easter Seal sells a different, locally themed ornament and the proceeds go to help the disabled and others in need.

Local artist, Mitzi Presley Holt, has designed the ornaments for the past several years.

Mitzi Presley Holt/Artist: "Always give something back. Believe me, there's always somebody out there a lot worse than you and if you think about what's happened with all the tornadoes, the hurricanes, the economy right now, buying one of these helps somebody."

The ornaments are 12-dollars each.

Last year, Goodwill Easter Deal sold 10-thousand of the Blue Angel ornaments and some will be available again this year.

You can get them at a variety of places including the Goodwill Easter Seal stores, Whitney banks, and Blue Morning Gallery in downtown Pensacola.
