PENSACOLA, FL - Hundreds stood in line for the chance to see the Republican Vice-Presidential Candidate... Up close and personal.

The Republican Party Of Escambia County gave away its entire allotment of tickets for Sarah Palin's appearance in Pensacola next week.

Some supporters stood in line for over 3 hours for the tickets.

But most told Channel Three News they got more excited about the election when the Mccain campaign added Palin to the ticket.

"I really support Sarah Palin. I really believe in the things that she stands for.... I think she's a very gutsy person too. And I share a lot of her beliefs and that's why I want to see her talk." "We were McCain supporters before, but when he named Sarah as his running mate, we were just ecstatic. It's awesome."
