In Escambia County A Pensacola Police investigation continues into a shooting last Friday.

It happened at the Pensacola Village Apartment Complex On Fairfield Drive.

An adult male sleeping on his couch was injured... After someone fired several shots into the "J" building.

A motive for the shooting is not known....

In Santa Rosa County the trial of a woman accused of killing her husband more than ten years ago, has been continued until January...

Investigators beleive Kimberly Cannon killed Daren Kelley...Her husband of only 22 days.

They say, she disposed of his body on the 14 acres they lived on at the time... In the Munson area.

Kelley disappeared in 1995 - but he wasn't reported missing until three years later.

D-N-A evidence from a human bone led to Cannon's arrest in May of this year.

She has been serving time in Tallahassee on unrelated charges.

In Okaloosa County a new program will recognize county employees who go "Above And Beyond" to do a great job.

People who feel a county worker has made extra effort to help them can fill out a new "Employee Comment Card."

The cards are available in all county offices, or on the Okaloosa County Website.

Forty-nine county jobs were cut this year.
