ESCAMBIA - A family of eight has been displaced after a fire damaged their home early this morning.

First on Channel Three News this is the third red bulb in Escambia Counties "Keep the Wreath Green" campaign in less than 48 hours.

Escambia County Firefighters responded the the call for a fire on Florelle Way near Montclair Road just after four in the morning.

Officials on scene say everyone got out safely and no one was injured.

Firefighters tell us the fire started in the attic and caused about forty thousand dollars in damage.

Fire officials are still trying to determine what started the fire.

The second red bulb was lit when a fire broke out at an abandoned home on Pinestead Road last night.

Several fire crews from around the area responded to the call sometime after 10 o'clock.

Investigators returned to the site this morning to look for the cause of the fire.Family of Eight Displaced by Fire
