Obama administration says healthcare website seeing significant progress

WASHINGTON  --  Since its launch two months ago, the "health care dot gov" site has been plagued by error messages, system crashes and time outs.
But now the Obama administration says it is seeing significant progress.
Some 400 software bugs and hardware problems have been fixed.
The site is now accessible 90 percent of the time, up from just over 40 percent in October.

And can now handle 50,000 users at a time.
At one point today, the site hit its user capacity.
It didn't crash, but generated this message advising users what to do while they waited.

The president believes that the site has been significantly improved and that the teams in place have worked 24/7 for weeks now to make those improvements. // But the work is not done.

The site fixes haven't been tested with heavy traffic.
The administration is advising users to visit the site during off-peak times to avoid delays
