Two dog parks open on Pensacola Beach

PENSACOLA BEACH  --  You can now bring your dog down to Pensacola Beach.
But there are rules.
What you need to know before you and your dog head for the sand.

There are two dog parks now open. One at Parking Lot B on Fort Pickens near the Fort Pickens entrance.
The other at Parking Lot E near the Portofino Resort.
Both are open from 6 am - 10 in the morning and there are some rules.

Your dog has to be up to date with their shots, you have to keep them on leashes the entire time you're on the beach and you absolutely must clean up after your dog. They've even provided bags and receptacles for you.

If you break the rules, you could face a fine of at least 50 dollars.
Remember, these parks are on a trial basis for the next six months and two more parks are set to open in Perdido Key in the next two weeks.
