Weekends on the Coast events

NORTHWEST FLORIDA   --  If you want to take advantage of this weekend's sunshine, there will be plenty of opportunities.
Some of the events happening this weekend.
Spring and the gulf coast means there's always a lot to do.
And this weekend is no exception.

The 2nd Gallery Night of 2013 kicks off tonight at 5-o-clock  in Downtown Pensacola.

Palafox and other downtown streets will be closed to cars, and packed with visitors, vendors and live music.

Also happening today at 5, gates to the Santa Rosa County Fair open.
It's five dollars for kids 4 to 12, 8 dollars for 13 and up and 15 dollars gets you an unlimited ride wristband.

The Festival on the Green at UWF is free and runs Friday and Saturday.

And tomorrow, the 30th Annual Jazz Fest continues in Seville Square.
Bring your lawn chair or blanket and the little ones - for the jazz jams for kids, each day at two.

Or in Santa Rosa County, head over to the Blackwater River in historic downtown Milton for the 25th Annual Riverwalk on Saturday or Sunday

In Okaloosa County, check out a couple of firsts.
The first boys and girls clubs of the Emerald Coast rodeo kicks off Friday and Saturday nights at 7 in Freeport.

Or the first Bluewater Bay Cultural Arts Festival takes place Saturday at the Bluewater Bay Marina.

And for you sports fans, the Ice Flyers drop the puck at 7:05 at the Pensacola Bay Center for round two of the playoffs against the Ice Bears.

And of course, our very own Blue Wahoos are at home all weekend.
