'Duh' demolished for renovations
PENSACOLA -- A downtown Pensacola home decorating store is getting a makeover of its own.
"Duh" on 9th Avenue is demolishing its old building.
They're expanding adding a new warehouse and renovating their retail space.
They're also welcoming some partner businesses including Ginger Bender Stationery and Norma's Restaurant.
The small building where "Duh" first opened 14 years ago will be torn down for parking.
"Well first I thought I was going to use a sledgehammer, but then they told me to get into the crane. And I was like oh boy. I don't know about operating heavy machinery. It did feel a little strange taking a knocking blow to the building it all started in."
They expect all the changes to be finished by summer.
