BERTHA QUICKLY HEADING WEST-NORTHWEST

Tropical Storm Bertha formed over the Atlantic Thursday night and is heading west-northwest.  It has winds of 45 miles per hour and is not forecast to become a hurricane. The storm is not forecast to move into the Gulf of Mexico.

President urges against 'rush judgement'

WASHINGTON   --  At the White House, President Obama urged against a rush to judgment -- not using the word terrorism. 
But he vowed justice for those responsible.

"Make no mistake, we will get to the bottom of this and we will find out who did this. We'll find out why they did this. Any -- any responsible individuals, any responsible groups will feel the full weight of justice."
   
Cities across the country this morning remain on high alert for other potential plots.
Officials advise "if you see something, say something."

But they also urge everyone to continue living their lives as normal.
