Foster Care kids get opportunity to attend National Flight Academy camp

ESCAMBIA COUNTY   --  Some children in Foster Care will have the chance to go to camp at the National Flight Academy.

Landrum Human Resources donated 12,000 dollars today to the academy.
The money will pay for scholarships for 7th to 12th graders to attend a 5-day summer camp.

Ann Harter with Families First Network says it will make a real difference in their lives.
"I think sometimes kids in Foster Care don't think they can have the same dreams and ambitions as other kids. This experience lets them know that certainly they can."

Families First has already chosen the first four students to attend the camp this summer.
