EMS Week safety display at Cordova Mall
Emergency medical crews are at Cordova Mall in Pensacola giving out information on how to stay safe.
The display is part of National Emergency Medical Services Week.
The workers are handing out information on a lot of different topics from water safety and bicycle safety to how to install a car seat.
They're also encouraging people to play a game to see how dangerous it is to text and drive.
And they're showing off the life-saving equipment they use every day.
"There's been a long time that people still think that what we do is take the patient and just transport 'em to the hospital," said Danielle Hopkins." They don't realize there's a lot more stuff that we do now."
The EMS set-up will be at Cordova Mall again Saturday 10 a.m. until 9 p.m.
