Eglin AFB Master Sgt awarded Bronze Star

EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE   --  A maintenance superintendent stationed at Eglin Air Force Base received the Bronze Star today.

Senior Master Sgt. Jamie Jordan, was deployed with  Operation Enduring Freedom and Combined Joint Task Force Horn of Africa.

In one year he guided 1400 maintenance workers to support eight-thousand combat missions.

He says, he doesn't consider it a personal accomplishment.
"We were all like a family, worked six days a week, 12 hours together every day. It was a family with one goal

It brought me a lot of pride but there were a lot of people to help me along the way accomplishing those goals."

Jordan said he was privileged to work with a good group of people who were willing to sacrifice to get the job done.
