Woman in court for fatally stabbing her boyfriend with a stiletto heel

Now the latest in the case of a woman accused of killing her boyfriend in his swanky high rise condo.

The murder weapon - her  stiletto heels.

Inside this Houston high-rise building, prosecutors say a brutal and grisly crime unfolded. They say 44-year-old Ana Trujillo is facing murder charges for allegedly using her stilleto high heel to repeatedly stab her on-and-off-again boyfriend nearly 30 times causing his death.

In the arraignment they said, "the complainant appeared to have about 10 puncture wounds to the head, some being 1 to 1.5 inches deep. He also had 15-20 other puncture wounds along his face and arms and neck."

Her alleged victim is 59-year-old Dr. Stefan Andersson, a respected medical research professor at the University of Houston.

Authorities say the couple was drinking at a nighclub late Saturday night. Prosecutors say Trujillo, who made her first court appearance Tuesday, told them Andersson became mad after another man offered to buy her a drink.

the confrontation continued back at andersson's luxury high-rise apartment, where neighbors reported hearing a fight. Trujillo called police shortly before 4 a.m. Sunday. Inside, police found andersson's body face-up in a hallway, with a stilleto next to it. Prosecutors say Trujillo admitted to hitting him multiple times but told them she was acting in self-defense.

Trujillo has been charged with felony murder and remains behind bars on a $100,000 bond. Her lawyer, Lott Brooks, says he wants Trujillo to undergo psychiatric evaluations.
