ECUA board votes NOT to sell Main Street land YET

PENSACOLA   --  The former Wastewater Treatment Plant in Pensacola is -not- changing hands  Yet.

The HT Land Company of Houston offered ECUA 7.5 million dollars for the land on Main Street.
  
An ECUA spokesperson says the board voted today to reject the offer and hire a real estate marketing firm to help with the sale.
  
No word on how long that process might take.
The board members voting to turn down the offer were Lois Benson, Vicki Campbell, and Dr. Larry Walker.
   
Elvin McCorvey and Dale Perkins voted in favor of the sale.
