Council on Aging and International Paper service project helps area resident
A Cantonment woman was able to receive what she calls, a blessing from God today.
When a group of volunteers working with the Council on Aging gave her a helping hand.

Now 80-years old, Maggie can no longer get into her yard like she once could.
Lucky for her, 12-volunteers with International Paper gave her a helping hand.
By raking, trimming and cleaning out her yard.

"I'm just happy they're doing this for her because she's a sweet lady and she does alot for everybody else, she's a giving person and she deserves something back"
Volunteer groups with the Council on Aging of West Florida have been reaching out to help senior citizens for over 40-years.
The organization says they can easily have up to 20 yard requests at any given time which is why they can always use more volunteers.

Maggie says she's grateful to be have such thoughtful people in her community.
