Man that poisoned Toomer's Corner trees out of jail

AUBURN   --  The University of Alabama fan who poisoned Auburn University's famed oak trees in 2010 is out of jail.

Here you can see Harvey Updyke, Junior leaving the Lee County Jail.
The Milton native was sentenced to six months behind bars after pleading guilty to poisoning the oak trees at Auburn's Toomer's Corner.
As part of the plea deal, Updyke will also serve five years supervised probation.

He's banned from attending any college sporting events as part of his probation.

As for the trees, they were removed in April after school official determined they couldn't be saved.
They stood on the campus for more than 130 years.
